Vintage Purse Needlepoint Tapestry Handbag Bag 7.5" x 5.5"

Description

Vintage purse handbag featuring a beautifully handmade needlepoint tapestry floral exterior.  Both front and back are embellished as well as along the bottom and side edges. Based on my research my guess is that the purse dates to the 1940s.  It has a brass frame with ornate glass bead embellished
clasp.  It has a 12" chain handle and is lined with heavyweight ribbed fabric and has two pockets. The lining fabric is heavily soiled with dirt and some lipstick stains. (please see all photos) The lining can be pulled to the outside of the purse which would make it easier to clean.  I will leave that to the buyer however. The purse measures 7.5” wide by 5.5” tall.
