About this Item:
We are pleased to offer this antique cast iron toy manufactured in the1930’s by the HUBLEY MFG. CO. This toy is commonly referred to as the
HUBLEY MOTOR EXPRESS,
made of cast iron the truck is silver and red with white rubber tires. The truck and trailer are separate pieces that attach by a hook shaped pin on the tractor through an oval opening in the trailer.
We believe this antique toy to be in original condition, retaining most of the red and silver paint. All 6 white rubber tires are still present however they are distorted and discolored with age, and they have flat spots on them. The truck and trailer together measure about 7 1/2" in length.
The bottom of the truck is marked “MADE IN U.S.A. 2287”
Both sides of the trailer are marked “MOTOR EXPRESS”
