Late 1920s Eversharp Silver-Filled Pencil in Wave Pattern.

Description

Circa late 1920s Wahl-Eversharp mechanical pencil, in silver-filled Wave pattern. The pencil is a post-1924, "Improved," model Eversharp, with six important improvements to the prior model. This pencil is 5 1/4" long.
Condition notes:
1. One small ding on the barrel between the clip end and the tip.
2. No brassing. Barrel pattern is sharp.
3. Bell cap is round but has a small flat spot on the rim. Clip is straight and tight.
4. The steel pencil tip has no corrosion.
5. Some tarnish where the barrel narrows toward the tip.
5. Pencil works perfectly.
6. No inscriptions, no names, no monograms.
A good everyday user. The pencil takes 1.1 mm (or .046") lead, widely available on eBay or easily ordered from the present-day Autopoint company.
I am not a dealer, but just a fellow collector
downsizing my lifestyle, including my pen and pencil collections, by selling off duplicate items or ones I will never really get around to using.
