The first one I bought had a broken seal and the pin was pulled out. It also had half of the wall bracket missing. I should have taken it out of the box and inspected it before I bought it.Lets hope I don't need to use it.

Looks to be well made and not too pricey. I bought this to replace an old expired Kidde extinguisher on a boat. Even though it looked like the same diameter tank, I could not get it to fit in the old mounting hardware. I had to install the new hardware. The manufacture date is supposed to be stamped somewhere on the extinguisher but was unable to find it. Saw other reviewers had the same issue. The manufacture date needs to be known because the chemical agent in the tank is age sensitive. I think the tank pressure (propellant) gets lower over time and the chemical agent can no longer be expelled from the tank.
