  • Condition: The original finish shows some wear which is interspersed with dust in the crevices. The lock is currently in the standard locked position with his hand pushed in to his mouth (as intended when locked). There does not seem to be any tension on the arm so we are thinking that the spring inside of the lock is probably not functioning. But, we do not have the correct kind of key that will open the lock to verify this point. Perhaps the lock would be improved with a light exterior cleaning. But, we have left the lock exactly like it we found it and have not cleaned it or done anything to it.
