Another great Hubley motorcycle from my “PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST” collection. I try to supply items that are of the rarer variety and with the provenance that makes these of a higher price than normally seen. Ok people. If you can’t afford -75,000 for an original first casting of this toy, here’s your chance to pick one up at a substantially lower price. Here is one of the hardest to find cycles often called the “HOLY GRAIL” of all of Hubley’s motorcycle toys. This is the largest of the seven sizes that were produced. A nice example of an advanced collectors cast iron toy, painted in light blue and black, floral decals and embossed stenciling at sides of delivery cart. Such a rare and desirable toy in any condition it was recast as a second casting years later to allow more collectors to own this example. This is a rare offering. 11.5" And all the tires do not have flat spots. Marked Hubley on the sidewall. Decent coloring and not faded, but does have some very few paint chips here and there. Original black cast iron driver. Handlebars are also good and tight. Indian decals on both sides of the tank. Very rarely do you see any of these up for sale here and at a very decent starting price.
