For the Collector of Farm Memorabilia is a FELCO Bullet PencilThese were typically given away by local Ag Business in the 1950's and 60's.
FELCO-Farmers Elevator Service Company was headquartered in Fort Dodge, Iowa. FELCO was a soybean processor, crushing soybeans and creating animal feeds. Traveling around rural Iowa in the 60's, 70's and 80's you would see the FELCO logo on the head house of the local elevators. Eventually merging with the feed division of Land 'O Lakes the FELCO brand continued to me marketed, eventually giving way to Land 'O Lakes Feeds.
The pencil is similar to the small pencils that are use to record your golf score except in a plastic holder that included an eraser.
Thanks for looking.
