    Description

    This is an antique silver mechanical pencil made by Thomas Addison in the mid-1800s. There is a pink faceted gemstone at the top of the pen. It is in fair condition.
    The pen has some dents to the top and it appears the metal has some damage where the cap slides in (see photos, not visible when pen is closed). It has not been cleaned. There may be parts missing on the inside that would hold the lead.
    It measures approximately 6” in length.
    It is signed “TA and Co” on the top portion. There may be additional markings obscured by time.
