Shipping Costs
: I only charge what the post office or FedEx does. I use FedEx for the larger items if it is the cheaper option. I refund any extra over my estimate. I have to put the largest amount that will take it to the farthest side of the continent. So unless you live in B.C. or California/Oregon (around there) you will usually pay less. You may or may not be aware that eBay charges their commission on the postage cost so I pay an extra 15 percent more for shipping than you do. For this reason, if the extra is less than , I keep it. I still end up in the hole as most times I am under in my estimate and in that case, I will pay the extra. I would appreciate you paying for your item as soon as possible so I only have to go to the post office once. Thank you!
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
I have two of these sweet little machines up for auction. This one is Little Red Riding Hood and the other is Hansel and Gretel. I can pack both of them together in one box if you should win bid and win both. It will reduce the shipping cost but not eliminate one altogether as I have to pay for the extra weight and size of the box.

A sweet antique child sewing machine. It is made of cast iron and I believe the top is painted wood. It is a hand crank which still works but there is no needle in the arm. Beautiful graphics depict an innocent young girl with a red hat and red bodice and a picnic basket. She is picking flowers and a large gray wolf with an evil expression is watching her. This depiction of Red Riding Hood is on both sides of the machine. The face plate has an eagle mark with an arrow and it states beneath Made in Germany. The base of the machine has areas on the feet where the black paint has worn off to show the red color of the iron underneath. It is not rust but the actual color of the iron. There is not a lot and it does not detract from the beauty of this piece. The entire thing is 7 inches tall by 9 inches wide. Super cute!
