    Description

    Ives ”CANNONBALL TRAIN” set, circa 1895. About 55 inches long. Weighs over 20 pounds. See similar set no. 348, page 103 in CAST IRON FLOOR TRAINS. Loco only is 14 5/8 inches long, no. 1065. The coach is no. 1381, 16 3/16 inches long. The boxcar is 13 5/8 inches long, no. 1766. The coach has an invisible professional repair to a small crack that was at the center post screw hole. One pair of wheels replaced. Otherwise the set is all original. Pull cord on the locomotive is original.
    Condition: Antique items are typically not mint. They likely have signs of wear and possible flaws.  Please view photos carefully to make your own determination of the condition.
