This is a thoroughbred worthy of the most distinct collections. It is #s matching and documented with original build sheet and fender tag. Born like you see it including colors and the long list of desirable options. Verified by Mopar experts including Galen Govier. Only 296 convertibles made total, only 25 were 4-speeds. It also has the very desirable Ramcharger. Same owner the last 25 years. Only 384 miles since it has been rotisserie restored to factory condition.
EXTERIOR: Stunning colors, born Top Banana yellow. I will admit, the body is restored better than new. Laser beam straight, all the gaps are square and flush. The doors click shut. No issues, bubbles, cracks or damage that I could find. The paint is like glass, every inch of it. It has correct bumble bee stripe. Upfront the bumpers are rechromed, grills are restored. Every single piece of chrome is show quality down to the fender mounted turn signals, correct antenna, remote mirror and hood scoop bezels. The moldings on top of the doors are restored. In back the bumper is rechromed and tail panel is restored. The black convertible top it was replaced in the proper Mopar grain material. The windshield is new, the stainless trim is polished. 15 inch Rallye wheels look like new and they have BFGoodrich tires. The door jambs are meticulously restored, weather strips and sill plates are replaced.
INTERIOR: Factory white interior looks fantastic with the yellow paint. It is restored to brand new condition. The seats have new cushions and upholstery, rare 6 way adjustable driver seat. The door panels, armrests, window cranks were replaced. The metal trim was repainted. In front of me is a pristine dash area. It has a restored set of Rallye gauges with tachometer. The instrument panel has been restored, the chrome sparkles, lenses are crystal clear, the switches and the wood grain are perfect. Nothing is broken, it has the original AM radio. The upper and lower dash pads are mint. The glove box liner is new. The deluxe steering wheel looks brand new. The center console is restored and has a rechromed Hurst shifter with a pistol grip handle. The carpet is excellent, full set of original seat belts are excellent. Visors, mirror, pillars are like new. Everything appears to be working including interior lights and clock.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor compartment is meticulously detailed. That is the VIN number match 440 Magnum motor. HP is stamped on the pad. It has stock manifolds, carburetor, distributor, valve covers etc. It has the very desirable N96 Ramcharger package, it is complete and functional. It was also born with power steering and power brakes. The engine bay is all painted clean metal painted gloss yellow. The original fender tag is attached. Everything looks proper, the fan shroud, pulleys, washer bottle is hooked up to the squirters. Horns, battery, wiper motor look new.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is all clean metal painted yellow like it's supposed to be. The weatherstrip, trunk mat, well liner were replaced. It does he have a restored spare rim, no tire. It has the jack assembly which has not been restored.
UNDERSIDE: Put on a rotisserie so the bottom could be restored like new. Floors look immaculate. The frame rails and floor pans are clean. The factory seams are dry. It's been painted yellow with thin black undercoat applied in the correct places. The front end steering and suspension has been completely rebuilt. The rear suspension has also been apart and rebuilt. It has a correct dual exhaust system. Disc brakes in front, e-brake is hooked up, brake lines have been replaced. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, restored starter. You can see the correct casting dates and codes, also the VIN number down by the oil pan matches the car. The 833 4-speed transmission also has VIN number matched to this car. Both vin stamps have been authenticcated. In back it has the correct Dana 60 rear end which came with 4-speed cars. It has 3.54 Sure Grip gears inside.
Extremely rare and desirable, that's the winning combo. You can buy with confidence, this car is real with genuine #s matching verified by experts. It has had the same owner the last 25 years and this is the first time offered for sale since. I was advised, actually urged by a serious Mopar collector to ask 0,000 for this car. This is an opportunity to own a premium investment grade car!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

    About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
