1935 Mordan Sampson Everpoint sterling silver mechanical pencil in replica box

Description

The pencil was found at a local auction, in need of polishing but in good operating condition.
It has very clear 1935 London proof marks.  The eraser is hardened but there are some spare leads inside.
The small custom engraving panel is fortunately blank - no personalization.
The vintage calfskin covered box is not original to this pencil.  It was found separately without markings and without the lower internal item holder part.  I made up a holder for the pencil to fit the box, using the same colored cloth as shown in an original Mordan Everpoint box on the web.  I copied and printed the inner top label from a picture of a Mordan box and pasted it into this one. The result is a nice set that shows the pencil well, but is not really original.
